Episode 46: Philip speaks

Philip was mortified, at the very least. Drinking, blatant drinking on duty. Blu was playing with fire. But still, he had important news for the case, news that Inspector Blu had to hear immediately. ‘Inspector, we may have found the boyfriend. Well, his body that is. SFPD called and they have this guy, and he is dead but Bob Knoff’s name and pictures were on his phone – and by pictures we are not talking holiday snapshots – so we may have something here…’

Episode 45: A drink, or two, at Ulysses

Philip ran out of the bank and straight to Ulysses. He spotted Inspector Blu immediately, sitting at the bar and talking to the rather attractive blonde barman. In front of him there was a glass of honey colored liquid and judging from Blu’s red face, there were many glasses before that. ‘Oh, here is Philip! John, can you get my friend some Wild Turkey? With ice please? The boy cannot take his liquor.’ With a chuckle, John reached to the shelf and poured Philip a rather generous amount of ‘Wild Turkey’.

Episode 44: San Francisco calling

Philip walked on the trading floor. A particular busy day on the markets with the Dow plummeting a few hundred points had everyone running around like mice on steroids. His attempts to grab the attention of the traders were in vain. ‘Bob Knoff, you said? Wait, that sounds familiar. Can we talk after the closing bell?’ And then a 415 number came up on his cell. “Philip Crouse? This is Inspector Jacobs from SFPD. I think we may have a body that would be of interest to you…’
